Design
International HR Policy for a Sustainable Fashion Brand Expanding to Asia
Overview
What this challenge is about.
Your team (3-4 students) will research labor laws and cultural dimensions in Vietnam and Japan, then propose a comprehensive international HR policy document. The policy must cover: (1) recruitment and selection standards, (2) compensation and benefits (including expatriate packages), (3) performance management system, and (4) code of conduct aligned with sustainability values. Each section must justify how it balances global consistency with local responsiveness. Success is a policy that is legally compliant, culturally sensitive, and approved by the CEO. Deliver a 20-page policy document and a 15-minute presentation.
