Overview
What this challenge is about.
You receive a curated dataset of 3 apartments, each with around 120 input images and known camera poses (already SfM-processed). Train a NeRF variant (Instant-NGP or Nerfacto recommended for speed) on each apartment, render 4 novel viewpoints per apartment, and benchmark training cost on a single rented L4 GPU. Run a quick 10-person user study (Google Forms is fine) comparing NeRF renders to 360 photos on perceived quality and immersion. Deliver a comparison memo with a clear go/no-go recommendation backed by the numbers.
