Build an Internal Developer Portal with Backstage for a FinTech
Overview
What this challenge is about.
Deploy Backstage on the fintech's existing Kubernetes platform. Build catalog-info.yaml generators that crawl their GitHub orgs (300+ repos) and Jira (ownership tags) to seed the service catalog. Configure TechDocs to render Markdown docs from each repo's /docs folder. Pilot with 4 squads: add their services, on-call (from PagerDuty), and 1 scorecard (golden-image freshness). Measure adoption (catalog completeness, doc-page views, scorecard score) over 4 weeks. Deliver portal source, ingestion CI jobs, an adoption dashboard, and a 5-page playbook for the other 28 squads.
