Overview
What this challenge is about.
Facilitate 2 half-day Event Storming sessions with 18 domain experts using Miro. Capture domain events, commands, actors, and policies. Identify 6 to 10 candidate bounded contexts with clear ubiquitous-language glossaries per context. Draw the context map showing integration patterns between contexts (Customer/Supplier, Conformist, Partnership, Anti-Corruption Layer, Open Host Service). Deliver a 20-page strategic design document including the context map, per-context glossary, and a recommended team-to-context allocation respecting Conway's Law.
The Brief
What you'll do, and what you'll demonstrate.
Produce a defensible bounded-context map and ubiquitous-language glossaries for a complex insurance domain before any modernization code is written.
Earning criteria — what you'll demonstrate
- Facilitate Big Picture Event Storming with non-technical domain experts
- Translate domain events into bounded-context boundaries with explicit relationships
- Author a ubiquitous-language glossary per context with collision rules
- Apply Conway's Law to team-allocation recommendations
