Ewance Students Are Putting Their Certificates on LinkedIn

More than 500 certificates in, the clearest sign Ewance's credentials matter is what students do with them: add them, unprompted, to their LinkedIn profiles.

Across 2024 and 2025, students completing real-world challenges on Ewance earned more than 500 certificates. The most telling number, though, is not the count — it is that students have been adding those certificates to their LinkedIn profiles, unprompted, putting their proven work in front of the recruiters they want to reach.

The honest test of a credential: do people show it?

That behaviour is the strongest signal a credential can carry. A certificate students choose to put on their profile is one they believe says something real about them. Many of these students first encountered Ewance through their universities, solving challenges as part of their coursework — and still chose, on their own, to carry the result onto their professional profile.

From shown to verifiable — what comes next

It also raised the bar. If students are going to stake their professional profile on a certificate, that certificate has to hold up — and that conviction is shaping what Ewance is building next.

In the year ahead, Ewance will turn the certificate from a printable into a credential a recruiter can trust: identity-checked, signed by Ewance, and tamper-evident, so its authenticity can be confirmed in a single click — with no Ewance account, no sign-in, and no expiry. It is being designed to be portable — one tap onto a LinkedIn profile, carrying the challenge brief, the work, and the rubric scores with it — and to stay the student’s for life, provable even if they never open Ewance again.
