Bootstrap ArgoCD on a Multi-Cluster Platform for an EdTech
Overview
What this challenge is about.
Design the repo topology: per-environment vs per-tenant kustomize overlays, ApplicationSet generators for service-per-cluster fan-out, a sync-wave strategy for ordered deploys. Bootstrap ArgoCD via Helm into the management cluster, configure it to manage itself (the chicken-and-egg solved via App-of-Apps), and wire SSO + RBAC against the existing Okta IdP. Migrate the 22 services one at a time using the strangler pattern: shadow ArgoCD sync, verify drift-free, cut over. Deliver bootstrap repo, working ArgoCD setup, and a 10-page operator runbook covering rollback + DR (disaster recovery) scenarios.
