Design a Multi-Persona Dashboard for a Smart-Building Platform
Overview
What this challenge is about.
Run 6 stakeholder interviews (2 per persona) to define jobs-to-be-done per role. Design 3 entry views with persona-specific information hierarchy and a shared component library (cards, charts, alarm tiles, booking widgets). Build a clickable Figma prototype covering 3 core flows per persona. Validate with 6 users (2 per persona) via task-based moderated tests. Deliver: persona definitions, interaction spec, component library (Figma), clickable prototype, and a 4-page validation report.
The Brief
What you'll do, and what you'll demonstrate.

Earning criteria — what you'll demonstrate
- Design a multi-persona UI that shares a component library without UX compromise
- Apply information architecture (IA) principles to a real complex product
- Validate persona-specific flows with task-based usability tests
- Specify a design system handoff that an engineering team can build against
